MIM Double Degree Program

Koç University has developed a Double Degree Program in cooperation with the presitigious University of South Carolina, The Darla Moore School of Business. This joint Master's program will allow students to graduate with two different degrees from two different universities: Koç Master's in International Management (MIM) and USC Master of International Business (MIB).

The Double Degree Program aims to facilitate opportunities for highly qualified students to further enhance their business competence, cultural and social skills. Furthermore, it is meant as a unique chance for students to study from a truly international perspective, develop diversity of thought, thus enhancing their possibilities in the international labor market.

The intended length of the study for the program is two years. Within the framework of the program, graduate students will spend the first year at Koç University, acquiring core knowledge and skills and completing all the required components of the MIM Program and spend the second year at USC meeting the requirements of the MIB Program.

Provided that both institutions' academic requirements have been met, students of the Double Degree program will receive two distinct degrees, one given by each institution.

 

Admission Requirements

Candidates for the Program must fulfill the admission requirements of the home and host institutions:

Koç University, Graduate School of Business Admission Requirements:

  • An application to the Koç University Graduate School of Business
  • Official school records from all higher education institutions attended
  • Official GMAT scores
  • TOEFL or IELTS scores  (minimum TOEFL 600/100/250 or IELTS 7.00) for the students whose native language is not English
  • Nomination results from the University of South Carolina, for students admitted initially to the MIB.

 

University of South Carolina, Darla Moore School of Business Admission Requirements:

  • An online application to the UCS Darla Moore School of Business
  • Official school records from all higher education institutions attended
  • Official GMAT scores
  • Evidence of English Language proficiency as indicated on the TOEFL or IELTS (minimum TOEFL 600/100/250 or IELTS 7.00)
  • Nomination results from Koç University, for students admitted initially to the MIM

Candidates for the two degrees will be evaluated on the strength of their application and supporting documents, GMAT scores and indications they are culturally, academically and personally motivated to participate in this program. Students must meet the admission criteria of both institutions to complete the double degree course of study.
