The first and foremost condition for joining the the Koç Executive MBA Program is to be a highly motivated and dedicated individual. In addition, applicants must possess the following qualifications:

• An undergraduate degree from an accredited institution (*studies abroad should be recognized by Turkish Higher Education Council)
• Minimum 7 years of full-time professional work experience (including at least two years of managerial experience)
• Proficiency in English

In order to apply to the Executive MBA Program, the applicants must complete the online application (gradapp.ku.edu.tr) and upload the following;

• An official academic transcript from every university attended
• Three essays as specified
• Application fee payment slip
• A written statement of corporate support

Two Reference Letters should be submitted for the application. The candidate should provide the contact information of those who will fill in the reference letters in the online application. They will be provided with the web link of the reference letter form via e-mail.

Selected applicants will be called for an interview by the Graduate School of Business. The candidates will be given a short article to read and study before the interview and will be asked to answer questions related to the article as a part of the interview process. Standardized tests such as TOEFL and GMAT may also be required.

ALES Exam is not required for EMBA applications.

TOEFL and GMAT tests may be required if considered necessary by the admission committee after the interview.

First recommendation should come from the immediate supervisor. The second recommendation usually comes from an employer who has observed you in an administrative capacity.

Transcripts can be presented in English or Turkish. Foreign students who possess transcripts in languages other than English or Turkish are required to have it translated and approved.

Interviews are arranged after the candidate completes and submits the online application.

There is no minimum GPA requirement.

Koc EMBA is designed for students with undergraduate degrees other than Business Administration. The majority of Koc EMBA students have engineering backgrounds. A considerable number of students are from various departments in the Arts and Sciences Faculties of renowned universities.

Taking Business courses at the undergraduate level is not a requirement but it is an advantage for the candidate.

All core courses are compulsory for all Koç EMBA students regardless of their undergraduate degrees.

To have minimum 7 years of full-time professional work experience is a requirement.

The non-refundable application fee for the 2022-2023 academic year is 250.-TL and it is paid via credit card on the online application system.

With prior notification, it is possible for candidates to visit the campus and attend a lecture.

In accordance with the regulations and requirements of the Turkish Higher Education Council (YÖK), the Koc EMBA degree requires no graduation thesis.
